Black Powder Cartridge Rifle

Summary: The DRRC Black Powder Cartridge Rifle program provides the opportunity to shoot traditional black powder “buffalo rifles” at long range, shooting at a life-sized steel buffalo target. The challenge comes from using iron sights or traditional low-power scopes, shooting heavy cast bullets with a rainbow-like trajectory. Wind can also be a factor and must be accounted for.
