LTP Committee Purpose Statement

“To explore the wants and needs of the club, consider ideas, and chart a course that supports the purpose of DRRC.”

Long-term planning is critical to the future viability of any organization. To preserve the future of Douglas Ridge Rifle Club, we have a committee who regularly meets to strategize and make recommendations to the board.

The LTP committee considers the next 1-5 years or beyond for larger issues and projects. Information is collected from the membership and used as one of the inputs in the planning process.

The committee also considers factors relating to safety of the members and community, environmental matters, club growth, trends in the shooting sports, and many other inputs to the planning process. The recommendations from the LTP committee is one of the main inputs into the budgeting process.
