Gun Safety

RFC 3

DRRC is committed to promoting a safe environment to enjoy the shooting sports. Adherence to the safety rules and instructions is strictly enforced. We have a responsibility to ensure that all members, guests, and the neighbors are not put at risk.

DRRC has designated Range Safety Officers. You may see them at shooting events or roaming around the facility. They will be wearing safety vests with “RSO” on them. They are trained officials who have the responsibility to make sure the range use and shooting practices are safe. Their word is the law. You can ask questions, but do not argue or challenge their authority. Take the opportunity to learn from them.

We welcome any member to become an RSO. For information on our Hunter Safety training, see the contacts list. Additional information is available through ODFW.
